Early, bugged output from my first long-form gen art collection Stargazing. This output influenced the final collection a lot. I initially made the algorithm very rigid, so in August 2023 I explored a way to break up the beams to introduce some elements of surprise. This output was the result of a bug in the new logic and I shared it as a failed WIP. The feedback was surprisingly positive however, and that encouraged me to explore this direction further. This new logic eventually became the Scattered trait in the final collection.
